Los Alamos National Laboratory
Dr. Colt Montgomery is an R&D engineer at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) with research primarily focused on advanced manufacturing process and material development. Some of his recent research accomplishments include the development of fully dense additively manufactured tantalum as well as a method for rapid production of custom forming tooling. He graduated with his PhD in mechanical engineering in 2017 from Carnegie Mellon University with research focusing on powder effects in laser powder bed fusion additive manufacturing.
